The Ukrainian Air Force stated that nine enemy drones were destroyed in the regions of Dnipro, Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Zhytomyr. The governor of the Dnipro region, Serguii Lysak, confirmed that 15,000 residents of Kryvyi Rih were left without electricity after the drone attack. The head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, mentioned that the energy companies would implement emergency power outage schedules in the city.

The high-speed tram in Kryvyi Rih will stop operating, and some hospitals will use generators. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine nearly two years ago, Russia has targeted the country’s energy infrastructure, leaving thousands of people without heating during an intense campaign last year.
