January has brought to the screens some big names in cinema. Dear subscribers, traditionally, January is a quiet month in Hollywood. All the films that aimed to be eligible for the Oscars rushed to be released between September and mid-December. There is therefore a kind of truce in the cinemas, with Hollywood (and me) focused on the Oscar nominations and the other preceding ceremonies.
With this whirlwind, and that of the César Awards, having subsided, I dare to re-enter these places to make you want to see the new releases of January, which have not skimped on ambition, distribution, and panache.
